Where I grew up, Toys R Us was the grand daddy toy store of them all. They were the place to go for anything toy related. I even met the David Hasslehoff at the one in my city, that’s right, the Hoff himself! I can say at one point in my life I was literally standing a few feet away from the Hoff. I don’t think anyone gave him a hassle either. This was before his long slow motion run on Baywatch, the one along the beach. He was touring when he was Michael Knight in Knight Rider. Ah Memories. Toys R Us is dedicated to kids with a wide variety of toys and products for babies. The specialty baby stores are called Babies R Us. They have about 600 Toys R Us store and 260 in the USA and almost 700 stores internationally. Their mascot is Geoffrey the Giraffe. Find a Toys R Us or Babies R Us store near you with their handy store locator. Chances are, if you’re looking for something toy related, you’ll find it here. They have so many kids products in a variety of categories it can be quite overwhelming. They literally have hundreds of brands with some of their feature brands being Fisher Price, Nerf and Little Tikes. When visiting their website, you can shop by brands here, just find the brand you want and click it. It will list some of the toys made by that brand. If you don’t care what the brand is and want to search for a particular category, you can do that to. Here you can find the toys grouped by video games, educational and learning toys, baby toys and building blocks to name a few. You can even shop while online. Toys R Us was in the movie Back To The Future at the Hill Valley Mall in 1985 and it was visited in the movie Blues Brothers. The name itself has also been parodied in an episode of Family Guy where the store was called Toys R Overpriced and The Simpsons encountered a store called Wives R Us. Whether you make a trip to a local store or shop online, there’s a good chance you’re going to find what you’re looking...

Let’s take a break from the dollar store toys and take a look at some amazing toys at the Big Bad Toy Store(BBTS) website. If you are looking for some really cool action figures online then you should make the Big Bad Toy Store your first stop. The website doesn’t seem very flashy or dazzling but that would only distract you from browsing what they actually have, and from the looks of it, they have just about everything. The homepage starts with new arrivals and featured preorder action figures and toys so check back often to see what’s new. The Big Bad Toy Store lists the Transformers, GI Joe and Star Wars as their favorites. This is highly amusing since I rank those as some of my favorites. Those were around when I was a kid back in the 80s. In addition to action figures, you can get some other awesome themed based products. For example, there’s a generation 1 Optimus Prime transformer which is actually an iPod docking bay. The trailer opens up housing two speakers and a slot to hold your iPod(certain models of iPods only). You can play your iPod right from the dock since it includes an AC adapter for the speakers and the Optimus transforms to. One of the cool Star Wars toys they have available is actually a transformer, the Vader Death Star. It’s a Death Star that transforms into Darth Vader or the other way around if you want to argue. One of the pictures shows it with mini TIE Fighters, Storm Troopers and Darth Vader to. It’s a new arrival and already sold out. The transformer Darth Vader reminds me of generation 1 Megatron or Unicron. Unicron was a planet that could turn into a robot, kind of like this Darth Vader transformer. I feel a little bad for this transforming Darth Vader though since the Death Star has that 2 meter wide exhaust port weakness. Where do you think that is on Darth Vader? In addition to their favorites, they have many other categories of action figures and other products from TV shows, movies and even video games. You can browse by featured products(Power Rangers, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek), categories(Anime/Manga, Science Fiction, Horror) and toy companies(Bandai, Hasbro, McFarlane). They all contain extensive lists to browse so you are bound to find just about anything. Or, you can just type in what you’re looking for into their search box. It’s big, it’s bad and you can buy toys from...
